… I’m Hannah, and I currently work on the Guardian’s TV desk as deputy editor where I write, edit and sometimes actually to get watch TV. I have also written about music, TV and other excellent pop for the likes of Q Magazine and VICE.

Before that, I cut my teeth as a teenager writing about music for the likes of NME and The Fly and writing a semi-successful though generally illiterate blog.

Along the way I’ve also written for Refinery29, Time Out and more, and worked on branded content for the likes of Spotify, Sonos and MTV. I helped to write the Guardian’s Glastonbury mini Guide in 2016 and 2017, and edited a one-off Guardian TV supplement in 2017, too. Between 2016 and 2019 I floated around as a casual editor on culture/features at the Guardian, and have also covered at VICE and Red Bull.

As well as writing, I have dabbled in freelance French to English translation (culture-related stuff or music press releases), artist biogs, and spending every waking second on Twitter.
