Hello! I’m Hannah. That’s me above (weirdly enough). The pictures below are of me in times passed, hence the ginger hair and penchant for paisley/denim.
When I’m not freelancing and blogging, I’m at uni.

Should you wish to hire me, I have experience reviewing/interviewing a number of artists (full press credits avaliable on request, summary below) and more, and I can touch type approx. 90 wpm. I’ve also dabbled in telephone and email marketing/publicity too.

To date, I’ve had the pleasure of writing for: NME.com, Artrocker magazine/online, Converse Music, Dazed Digital, The 405, The Fly, The Guardian…
...and a few others!
I’ve also presented for Roland/Boss (as part of the Roland Eye Sessions) and Time Out London! I also work with the fabulous people at Trekstock.
I try and put copies of all the work I’ve done in the relevant month’s blog post, however if you would like a separate list of all of my online and print credits please ask.
I’m available for freelance contributions/commissions so please get in touch via my contact page.
Other bits
- This blog is a proud member of the Vice Blog Network, in case you missed the badge of honour on my homepage. You can read more about it here. Yes, I linked because they mentioned my name.
Finally, for some banal and irrelevant facts.
I was born on Friday 13th.
I love beetroot and coleslaw…but not potato salad…
Everything I know about Nietzsche I have learnt from watching Criminal Minds.
I have a lucky belt which I wear almost everyday. (it’s reversible though, so you might not have noticed yet).

Hey Hannah! Just wanted to commend you on your witty, perceptive and entertaining journalism! I’m an aspiring writer too-yearning for fashion editorial work!
Cillian.
I saw your comment and just wanted to say hi. Your blog is very interesting. Huzzah for Johnny Depp fans, haha.

I bless this interweb procrancianation.
Hannah, with the greatest of respect; the background and font colours is hardly considered, and the content of your work resembles an extremely unimaginable and random format of language. It simply lacks substance, relayed in a clear and concise manner. Your website needs dramatic improvement and I wish you all the best.
Never mind this ass Duke of Wellington. If he doesn’t like your blog he should just move to another or write you privately if he sincerly thinks you could use his comments. Seems like he’s either maladjusted or you dumped him. anyway…I like your blog a lot but particularly like what you have to say about feminism. Wish you had categories so I could get to those posts more quickly.
Hey Kristl, thanks very much for your comment. I know the ‘Duke’ in real life so I just left it there for nostalgia really! Will take on board what you’ve said about the categories – I only ever use one for music but I could shake it up a bit, couldn’t I? HJ.
nice work
